Contractor Member

Any contractor company engaged in the business of installing structural fire-resistance - fireproofing - is eligible for membership as a Contractor Member.

Companies must have completed 2 years and 20 jobs (of any size) in the passive fireproofing business OR be NFCA CAP Accredited to qualify.

Companies who have been installing for less than 2 years or do not have 20 jobs join as Interim Contractor Members until the criteria are met.

Any proprietorship, partnership, or corporation engaged in the business as a Special Inspection Agency, Consultant, Testing Laboratory, non-product supplier, or independent representative providing services to fireproofing contractors shall be eligible for membership as an Associate Member of the Association.

Manufacturer Member

Any proprietorship, partnership or corporation engaged in the business of manufacturing products used by contractors in the installation of passive fireproofing shall be eligible for membership as a Manufacturer Member of the Association. The manufacturer must have completed product fire-resistance testing to test standards required by codes in the region of the world they do business in.

Honorary Member

Any natural person who, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, has demonstrated sufficient interest in the passive fireproofing industry shall be eligible for consideration as a Honorary Member of the Association.
